Our DCP Thread Bar is engineered for permanent geotechnical and structural anchoring, featuring a unique HDG hot-dip galvanized base plus fusion-bonded epoxy outer coating to deliver robust double corrosion protection for long-lifespan infrastructure projects.
The dual-coating system is constructed in two separate, high-quality production stages. First, the high-strength steel bar undergoes hot-dip galvanization. This metallurgically bonded HDG layer tightly covers the steel substrate and its segmented transverse ribs, offering sacrificial cathodic protection, excellent impact resistance and abrasion resistance. It acts as the first defensive barrier, stopping rust formation even if minor coating scratches occur during transportation and installation. On top of the galvanized layer, a fusion-bonded epoxy coating is applied. This green epoxy layer fully encapsulates every rib, filling all crevices and surface gaps. It creates a dense, impermeable outer shell that blocks moisture, oxygen, salt spray and alkaline/acidic chemicals from reaching the metal base. Unlike single-coat threaded bars that easily suffer from coating peeling and early rusting in aggressive environments, the HDG+Epoxy combination provides two independent lines of defense, greatly extending the service life of the anchor bar.
Manufactured from high-grade structural steel, our DCP thread bar adopts non-continuous transverse ribs (segmented ribs), the classic profile for post-tensioning anchor bars. This rib design delivers superior mechanical interlock with grout or concrete, achieving reliable load transfer and stable tensile performance. It is fully compatible with standard couplers, anchor nuts and bearing plates. The bar can be cut to custom lengths on-site to match project design requirements, bringing great flexibility for field a*/ssembly and prestressing work.
